What is it?

Coaching + Consulting to help founders grow their business while staying rooted in their values.

You may have worked with a consultant who gave you a detailed deliverable and then moved on, leaving you to struggle with implementation. Or maybe you’ve interacted with a coach who only peripherally understood your business and wasn’t equipped to give you specific advice. 

My approach combines the best of both worlds.

We’ll work together to formulate strategies, build tactical action plans, and set goals. There will be whiteboarding and structured frameworks that you’d expect from a consultant. Then, I’ll be right there with you and your team along the way to problem solve in real-time and hold you accountable.

Who is it for?

When I meet them, founders are typically struggling with identifying the best way to sell.

Often, they are overwhelmed and actively debating whether to make an expensive full-time hire to offload the daunting process of establishing product-market-sales fit.

My clients see me as a way to help figure out what they need to do to sell and market their product or service, without making an executive hire.

I’m a lower-risk alternative that allows them to retain control and learn what works for their business to inform their hiring and scaling plans.

Here’s how it works:

My engagements are always custom-tailored to meet clients where they are on their growth journey. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” solutions – every founding team and company will have a unique path to success.
After an initial trial period, engagements vary in duration across two main phases.

PHASE 1

Founder-led Sales (Seed to Series A):

Building out and defining processes and discovering what works

During the first phase, we’ll work on:

Brand and Positioning

  • Mapping the market landscape and doing competitive analysis

  • Interviewing prospects to build segments and personas

  • Defining unique value proposition, product packaging, and pricing

Sales Process Building

  • Testing and refining outreach tactics, pitch decks, and email copy

  • Implementing a tech stack (CRM) for tracking and analysis 

  • Developing initial contracting and negotiation processes

Marketing Strategy

  • Creating first website or upgrading it to scale 

  • Building your founder brand and thought-leadership content strategy

  • Testing top-of-funnel lead generation tactics

PHASE 2

Transitioning from founder-led to team-led sales (Series A to Series B):

Handing over the reins to start to scale

Then, once we’ve built out your playbook, I’ll help you to:

Hire Sales and Marketing Leadership:

  • Hiring processes and interview plans 

  • Structuring compensation and incentives to drive performance 

  • Onboarding and training

Establish Best Practices for Pipeline & Forecasting:

  • Establishing goals that have all teams rowing in the same direction

Coach and Up-Level Team Skills:
